Deposit Protection Scheme
We protect both the landlord and the tenant using the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) as it is a legal requirement to have a deposit either held within a custodial scheme or insured
By law, FarebrotherSmith are required to log deposits to a third party
✓ piece of mind for a protected deposit
✓ independent resolution service
✓ monies held in accordance to client money regulations
To secure the initial property, a tenant is required to pay a deposit. The deposit is held in a secure, independently protected account that protects the tenant and landlord or the letting agency.
When the tenant returns the keys a member of the Farebrother Smith team inspects the property. High cleaning standards are required including professional cleaning of all carpets. Once the property has passed the inspection, the deposit is returned.
